This year marks the first bbnyc Blogger bash NYC for Bash! It was quite different having a singleton on arm to mingle, meet new brands and learn all about the fun new products happening at sweet suite 17 but at the same time he was the perfect little personality to have accompany me.
We visited Zulily’s photo shoot booth; which included bubbles and fun photographers. http://www.zulily.com/ I love how they were able to be apart of suite sweet for everyone.
Now….. throughout this huge area at the piers we scope out some of our favorite things that I’d like to share.
1. ✨Simplay3 the brand that started tikes; ride alongs , durable amazing products have now started the next stage of baby gear. We are in love with everything featured at BBNYC (especially the helmet ride along) and know that there are more things to come. ✨ http://www.simplay3.com/
2. We had to visit V & K’s favorite snack pops booth http://www.yumearth.com/ we know that all sugar can be created equal but yum earths pops get a pass especially when they’re incorporating other nutritious snacks for your kiddies.
3. http://www.bixbee.com/ Was listed as one of the top choices to visit for bags and lunch boxes. I was so happy that we were able to visit them and learn more about their mission. Backpacks that embrace the imagination and give back.
4. http://www.kangaroomfg.com/ Was loaded with fun reps in butterfly floaters and emoji madness! We loved them so much we had to share with an unboxing clip.
5. Saving the best for last because as a mom of 3 you never know when you’re going to have to make your own anything or mend something quickly. This is where the 3doodler comes in. Three D Perfection!
We will be sharing more fun things that sweet suite had to offer! So much 2 share
Slow down summer! Though it has been 3 plus weeks since school ended, just the thought of packing away our summer styles and prepping for the cold scares the hee bee gee bees out of me.
We’ve been taking it as slow as we can between summer camp and our weekend getaways we are soaking up all of the sun we can to fulfill our vitamin D needs.
With 3 kids in tow we planned to visit some historical sites within driving distance. An 8-10 hour drive may sound like much but we’ve survived 16; now that’s serious. We chose Saratoga/Lake George as our first weekend getaway. We usually visit Martha’sVineyard but decided to go with a group of our family members and learn about upstate NY. The kids couldn’t get enough of the horses at Bennington Farms, Martha’s Creme for ice cream, Congress park’s Carousel, of course the lake and did I mention the ice cream 🍦.
As if that adventure wasnt enough we were brave enough to do it again….and many more times to come of course. But, traveling down south to VA to visit family was both nostalgic and educational once again.
We stopped at chincoteague beach where the wild horses run and the famous story of misty originated. The kiddies enjoyed one beautiful horse after another with an added touch of beach of course. We enjoyed our stay at a quaint Refuge Inn…. super kid friendly; just what we like!
Art matters!! Don’t we all agree!?
V & K usually spend their days after school with extra curricular activities as many other fortunate children do, but it’s those moments when they find tools and objects around the house to express their creativity that I adore.
Yes, twins enjoy individual things but don’t forget there are many things to enjoy together. We are all born creative beings. Some of us are able to express it at an early age while others need to explore themselves and find their creative purpose.
Let’s continue to share our creative commonalities while encouraging each other on the sidelines during our individual time to shine.
– sharing “she persisted” a level of reading appropriate for beginning mini entrepreneurs, along with a sneak peek moment of Book 3 of the TwinDollicious stories …..below

Moms this ones for you!
Have you ever been awakened out of sleep with the nightmare of having to go on a road trip alone with your children. Well I can attempt to put your mind at ease and give you the courage to try it after you read this.
Let’s begin with planning your road trips map along with how many stops you are willing to take ; all dependent on how far your trip will take you. For instance a 4 hour trip should call for (notice I said should) 2 stops the most. That is if you set the rule to only do potty and snacking on the gas breaks it will eliminate the sudden emergency.. this would also mean no drinking or heavy snacking while you’re driving.
Next, what about entertainment to keep everyone individually busy? Encourage homework that includes a subject your children are interested in along with a surprise goodie once it’s all done.
Last and most importantly is to keep your self in great spirits while driving because as distracting as the back seat drivers can be safety is always your number one priority then keeping everyone happy comes naturally.
First night in snack healthier and rest…
We’re sharing some of our happy road trip moments
P.S we’re letting dad join in on the fun on day 3
Singing along with musically app was quite entertaining …we’re @twindollicious
It’s officially Spring and the sun came along with it!
We’re ready for all of the spring colors and flowers that are in season for kids fashion & styles. V & K cannot wait to wear the new patchy tutus that come in their favorite color pink and of course that special staple color black. These tutus were hand designed by them and have worked their way into the next adventures of TwinDolliciius sisters Violet and Kelly’s wardrobe. You’ll be able to read about their next adventure ” Summer camp here we come” this fall…. but for NOW let’s enjoy some of our favorite Spring Fashion Inspiration .

Our close to home Spring break has Coe to an end but never with a dull ending. We saved the best part of the week long venture for last.
The little artists at heart were due for a trip to some of NY’s great museums.
Guggenheim was number one on the list followed by Cooper Hewitt.
By the likes of V& K the Guggenheim’s architectural sound made for great conversation amongst the girls. However the best part may have been visiting the gift shop where they scored a Kandinsky coloring book and a post card for their favorite art teacher.
While at Cooper Hewitt ther was an abundance of interactive exhibits for them to see, yet the most exciting part was scanning in all of the exhibit codes with the magic pen. There’s this cool pen shaped marker that is given to each visitor, which allows you to scan in your exhibits of interest then laterite urn to the website with your code to retrieve all exhibit information.
Kennedy preferred to spend the entire time in the Pixar exhibit area while her Vittoria enjoyed the interactive design table used with stylus pen as well.
Soon hunger set in and as I said before Kennedy would have stayed in Pixar the entire time yet we convinced her that a night at the museum may not be fun….. To be continued for our close to home Spring break happy little innovators.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It has truly been a season of giving, and if you’re reading this Id like for you to think of all of the things you may have given to others …. It counts. Food drives, coat drives, toy drives and sending gifts to loved ones ALL count as a gift of giving when it’s from the heart.
We have been spending our time doing all of the above as well as taking time to enjoy family and friends! Our holiday goodies and dress selections http://www.twindollicious.com/shop have kept us in Santa shipping mode but a quick trip out to enjoy this awesome NY weather helps with all the reason to believe in miracles. (This weather IS quite miraculous!!)
We have our last event of the year on December 19th at the Country Mouse boutique located at 570 Forest Avenue, Staten Island NY starting at 11:00 am and we will continue to give surprises to all of the kiddies who attend. There’s nothing more rewarding than to see the smiles of the child receiving as well as the child that is giving.
