Where should we place our first medals

It has officially been a year since V & K asked to join gymnastics and hard work has paid off. These two dolls worked hard to learn all about what gymnastics has to offer up until the last day of meets.  We are now at the point where a decision is needed to be made on whether they will join pre teams. We’d love to hear your thoughts?

They are 6 going on 7 and have been told numerous times that they have potential and the talent is clear.  Though the girls do show differences in strength they truly enjoy tune with their friends and the cheering and support they receive and give to each other.

At their first meet they earned beautiful medals! They are so proud of hemselves and each other.  As soon as we arrived home I thought it would be great to hang these beautiful things ; but where? We used Velcro Brand adhesives ( which we picked up at our local Michaels store).

The small sized Velcro square fit perfectly on the band of the medal.  We simply found the perfect spot on the wall and hung them with pride… can’t wait for them to add more medals to their walls

Twins Creative Corner

Art matters!! Don’t we all agree!?

V & K usually spend their days after school with extra curricular activities as many other fortunate children do, but it’s those moments when they find tools and objects around the house to express their creativity that I adore.

Yes, twins enjoy individual things but don’t forget there are many things to enjoy together. We are all born creative beings. Some of us are able to express it at an early age while others need to explore themselves and find their creative purpose.

Let’s continue to share our creative commonalities while encouraging each other on the sidelines during our individual time to shine.

Kids NY Fashion Weekend

Its September in New York again! My, my where does the time go!? After a great summer fun of travel and events we were happy to take some time out for a traditional NY block party.  However, this block party hosted by the iconic Essence magazine featured many new artists, fashion icons, actors and mini style stars walking the street styles. V & K’s mention in the Essence review was quite humbling to see.  Their natural love of meeting new people and interactions in fashion keeps their enthusiasm at 100% Always (LOL).
We’re sharing a few of our favorite shots as well as the Home Depot PINK closet makeover must have.

Who Inspires you

For so long I have lived a life filled with hidden goals that I would never tackle; yet follow a daily routine of accomplishing things, while being unaware that they were also on my goal lists. Well recently I revisited my inspiration board because of my TwinDolls whom asked me to be a Fancy Mommy… What ever that means. But, this request did inspire me to create these awesome t shirts
