Twin spookular Haloweekend

October should now be called Octoween! Every weekend in the month of October was a night out for V & K… It was pretty awesome for mom as well because we all enjoyed the festivities and outing with friends.

Here’s a few reason why Halloween is now a family fun filled month 🎃 for us

Art, Fashion, Friends and Fun

We truly enjoy meeting new friends! social media and here on the blog have made it even more fun to meet great people.  We recently teamed up with other creatives to do a workshop in NYC at an Argotea location.

First, we recommend you taking a stop in for their delicious baked goods and TEA if there’s one in your neighborhood.

Now, when our friend Sonia of mixed up clothing co (based in LA) http://www.mixedupclothing.com planned a trip to NY to collaborate with friends we were honored to be apart of it. Within one circle of friends others were created.

Shalom Israel Diggs of Alpha key http://www.wordartbyshalomisrael.com and TwinDollicious are now in the works to bring you a fun day in February that we’d love for you to join in on….. You can send an email reservation to Email : (subject line reserve my spot for ?_ children)

Here area few images of what Alpha key is all about and details on their up and coming event in collaboration with Care Bears.

The truth about Fall

New York’s Falls are starting to look soooo good! The crisp smell of a cool breeze, with the mix of sun has kept our TwinDollicious crew outdoors to enjoy all of the Halloween/Fall activities.

We’ve ventured to 3 pumpkin patches and apple orchards so far and plan to keep going throughout the month.  Why not… They make for the best photos.

We chose these 3 stops because of their locations and ammenities of fun.

Our First visit was to Battle Orchids (91 Wemrock Rd, Freehold NJ) which is a favorite repeat of ours.

The Second visit was to Easton PA, Raub Farms https://maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&channel=iphone_bm&um=1&ie=UTF-8&fb=1&gl=us&entry=s&sa=X&ftid=0x89c469570d3e9781:0x17489cbfa8172602&gmm=CgIgAQ%3D%3D. Which has the most amazing art maze. Every year a local artist creates a new design within the Corn maze and this years theme was farm scene treasure hunt.

Our third pumpkin patch adventure took place in Hillsdale NJ; Demarest Farms: 244 Werimus Road. Where a playground stood by the main entrance for the kiddies to enjoy before buying fresh farm picked and baked pies in the market.

The truth is that Halloween isn’t here yet and there’s so much more to do…like NYC’s Lincoln Center Halloween event… Which we will be sharing here, along with costume favorites!

****what will you be this Halloween?

Fall has become one our most anticipated times of the year 🎃🎃

Secrets to Twin Fashion

Being a twin means many things…like having a best friend forever, having someone to finish your sentences, having someone read your mind (hey you never know) even pretend to be you; if you’re identical …but the most perks of being a boy/boy or girl/girl twin is that you can enjoy each others fashions when you share the same style.

V&K continue to enjoy the same styles as well as dressing alike. Though this Halloween may be a bit complicated; stay tuned for that blog post :)

We recently had the opportunity to work with creative photographers as well as a Kidz fashion magazine and editors to share some of our favorite same and not quite the same Twindollicious styles.

Nursery for Boys

Living in a Dolls world for the last 5 years lead me to feeling like there wasn’t any hope in style in a boys life…especially when decorating a room.  Instead of hiring a designer or just going with the verrrry boy themed options in stores; I chose a style that was created by his name.

Kenneth Sebastian aka BASH is destined to be a classy cowboy in mama’s eyes. Hey it helped!

With the theme of bash’s nursery coming from his name as a start; next step was incorporating color.  Blues, grays and of course neutrals are always safe for your home.  As a matter of fact neutrals were used in V & K’s nursery 5 years ago; which lead to the reuse of their crib and crib and bumper set being used for their younger brother.  When designing his nursery a sisters touch was needed; so the girls used scooting paper of their own to add art work and color….which became The highlight of the nursery. Here’s our boy nursery and the most scrumptious part is that baby!!

Back to school Bliss

We’re celebrating back to school with some of our favorite summer of 2016 highlights !!

Starting with summer camp: V&K may have had hesitation about summer camp but somehow it became the best part of rising early in the morning and when it was all done they were pretty sad. The girls met new friends from different schools and neighborhoods and also visited some awesome museums and workshops. When asked what was your favorite thing to do at camp their response was gardening.

Here are a few great pics of what 5 year old gardeners look like:

Next memorable summer event: visiting Martha’s Vineyard and other mini vacays!  But keeping traditions matter & Martha’s  vineyard has been our traditional summer getaway before children and easily transitioned to include them. Staying committed to memorable events help mold cultured children that hold your immediate families beliefs close to their hearts to hopefully pass on to their families.

V&K here at State Road: (A favorite of the Obama’s)

Last but certainly not least of this summers events; highlights them all: the arrival of baby brother aka Kenneth Sebastian aka “Bash”.  We couldn’t be anymore blessed. Sibling love is written all of their faces and my wish is for it to never end!

Sharing more of Bash ..to come!
