Art matters!! Don’t we all agree!?
V & K usually spend their days after school with extra curricular activities as many other fortunate children do, but it’s those moments when they find tools and objects around the house to express their creativity that I adore.
Yes, twins enjoy individual things but don’t forget there are many things to enjoy together. We are all born creative beings. Some of us are able to express it at an early age while others need to explore themselves and find their creative purpose.
Let’s continue to share our creative commonalities while encouraging each other on the sidelines during our individual time to shine.

Is it ever too early to ask your children what would you like to be in the future? Well, how about NO the answer is no and in fact it is probably the best thing to begin asking them as early as 4 years old, While you’re at it take lots of notes and begin researching as soon as your kiddo responds with an answer. V & K have been consistent with their future plans…maybe a tinker change here or there but clearly their futures will include a business owned together and some form of beauty and entertainment to help people feel beautiful. This is why when given the opportunity to experience a kids chef for the day at the ICE Culinary education center, in collaboration with the NYS 529 Education planning professionals we had to attend.
That is a double dosage Twindollicious style load of information along with experiences to get a jump start on making those future goals closer to reality.
Did you know that when parents of multiples begin the application process for their children their finances are automatically viewed as cut in half which allows for qualification to assistance if needed?
Also did you ever wonder how much debt USA is in student loans? Over 1 trillion dollars. I’ll say that a perfect way to lower this deficit is by starting a 529 plan. How about contacting a representative to guide you through the easy 1,2,3 step process.
We were so over joyed with all of the positive information that each child now has a NYS 529 plan that can be used for College (Universities) or any Professional school; such as culinary school….which by the looks of V & K’s experience will be here before we know it.
Well, we survived a Presidents’ Day week with 80% staycationing (new word)! This February has flown by so fast that we couldn’t clearly plan a family vacation, so we decided to stay local to work a bit and have fun while doing so.
V & K enjoyed a movie premiere screening of Rock Dog; a must see movie about one of our favorite things MUSIC, and life of an artist. If it’s exposure to freedom of art, creation and a reason to think outside of the box we’re in!
If you haven’t been to the toy fair at NYC Javits Center yet you must check it out! There are so many ideas for learning, gifts and teaching lessons on encouraging entrepreneurship to children with one visit. It usually runs during the February season of NY Fashion. The girls enjoyed some goodies and decided to coordinate a full video on them. So much fun!

We saved our last great adventure of this staycation for our friends meet at Liberty Science center. We had the privilege of attending the new exhibit of Myth Busters. Visit Our favorite scientific corners such as the Myth Busters, infinity climber, table top chaos and how fast can you change into a super hero… you’ll love it!
We’re hosting a fun giveaway of 4 tickets to check out all of the amazing exhibits Liberty science center has to offer.

100 days of school down in NYC …15 more weeks until Summer Vacation!
New York fashion week may be behind us but we’re just getting started to plan lots of exciting things for V & K’s life on the runway.
We had the honor of attending shows for Rookie USA kids by haddad bros for make a wish foundation. While there we were lucky enough to attend adult runway stages and walk on them after the seasoned professional models of top designers. Exciting is beyond how the girls felt when Rae (runway trainer to the models) and Laurie of LDJdesigns (production co for fabulous exclusive runway shows) invited them for a behind the scenes moment.
From one professional runway trainer to a mom’s ears … V & K are naturals and are ready for some real runway events… so here they come; one step at a time, with smiles.

October should now be called Octoween! Every weekend in the month of October was a night out for V & K… It was pretty awesome for mom as well because we all enjoyed the festivities and outing with friends.
Here’s a few reason why Halloween is now a family fun filled month 🎃 for us
Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman visit the spooky house
Halloween Fest at Lincoln Center NYC
New York’s Falls are starting to look soooo good! The crisp smell of a cool breeze, with the mix of sun has kept our TwinDollicious crew outdoors to enjoy all of the Halloween/Fall activities.
We’ve ventured to 3 pumpkin patches and apple orchards so far and plan to keep going throughout the month. Why not… They make for the best photos.
We chose these 3 stops because of their locations and ammenities of fun.
Our First visit was to Battle Orchids (91 Wemrock Rd, Freehold NJ) which is a favorite repeat of ours.
The Second visit was to Easton PA, Raub Farms https://maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&channel=iphone_bm&um=1&ie=UTF-8&fb=1&gl=us&entry=s&sa=X&ftid=0x89c469570d3e9781:0x17489cbfa8172602&gmm=CgIgAQ%3D%3D. Which has the most amazing art maze. Every year a local artist creates a new design within the Corn maze and this years theme was farm scene treasure hunt.
Our third pumpkin patch adventure took place in Hillsdale NJ; Demarest Farms: 244 Werimus Road. Where a playground stood by the main entrance for the kiddies to enjoy before buying fresh farm picked and baked pies in the market.
The truth is that Halloween isn’t here yet and there’s so much more to do…like NYC’s Lincoln Center Halloween event… Which we will be sharing here, along with costume favorites!
****what will you be this Halloween?
Fall has become one our most anticipated times of the year 🎃🎃
Living in a Dolls world for the last 5 years lead me to feeling like there wasn’t any hope in style in a boys life…especially when decorating a room. Instead of hiring a designer or just going with the verrrry boy themed options in stores; I chose a style that was created by his name.
Kenneth Sebastian aka BASH is destined to be a classy cowboy in mama’s eyes. Hey it helped!
With the theme of bash’s nursery coming from his name as a start; next step was incorporating color. Blues, grays and of course neutrals are always safe for your home. As a matter of fact neutrals were used in V & K’s nursery 5 years ago; which lead to the reuse of their crib and crib and bumper set being used for their younger brother. When designing his nursery a sisters touch was needed; so the girls used scooting paper of their own to add art work and color….which became The highlight of the nursery. (Scroll down to see)
Here’s our boy nursery and the most scrumptious part is that baby!!
