When you become a mom you prepare yourself for the job of wearing multiples hats but referee is one that you probably don’t want to wear.
Sure we have our days but when you’re bonded with sibling love they will naturally find themselves in a better stance …. yet always side by side.

Sunday funday included a trip to our local Costco; which I have come to love for many reasons. One being that it’s a shopping trip with doubles in mind. Their shopping carts are made for us, with two front row seats to fit my girls perfectly. The samples of food add time for shopping and less worries about reaching home quickly to make dinner or lunch. Lastly, I kind of enjoy bulk buying. Now it seems that V and K have their own agendas and I have photos for proof. See below from bottom to top; I will describe the HAPPENINGS in numerical order of what I think may have been going on. Because pictures tell a thousand stories. (btw If she were wearing heels instead of rubber sole baby minnentonka you could probable her the stomps around the store) 🙂 🙂
1. K: sissy, we’re supposed to be getting mom to go down the fruit snack aisle.
2. K: but, Sissy what are you doing?
3. K: ok (thinking) what can I do to get her to work with me and have mom pick up those snacks?
4. Hugs, smiles and poses for mommy always work
Who knew that a war over makeups…as my two year old girls call it, starts at this age.? Well, these two spend time during the day playing with their toy pocket books, mirrors and makeups and that is wonderful and adorable to me. But today they happened to stumble upon daddy’s (non the less) bumblebee Chapstick and it all began. From my moment of making dinner in the quiet, peaceful lonesome kitchen entered a loud screech, bang and mooooommmy! I enter the dining room to see hair pulling, bags flying and two babies on the floor. I couldn’t help but laugh. Is that wrong of me? It was a moment I have never experienced in my life personally because I didnt grow up with a sister. I guess I was living vicariously through them for a moment as most parents do. As I intervened,I myself tripped over the dining room table and That was when reality set in. This may be just the beginning. What is going to happen in 15 years when someone is wearing someone else’s Bobbi brown lip gloss? That’s when I put them together, took the Chapstick away and said “hug!” I think this will be my remedy for as long as it works because it did. I’m pretty sure that mom’s of older children, experienced moms and sisters have stories to share. I Love my Twindollicious babies.
The Twindollicious closet is opening physically and mentally. As my two adorable girls grow they are learning and exploring so much. Through them I have found a new me in myself. One that dares to take more risks and push to the limit. (I hope) I hope is what the old me would say but for these two larger than life fearless doll babies I will. There are so many things that we have begun to tackle with the start of this Twindollicious brand, which I am excited about. For starters the book expo America is on the agenda for this coming May ( my first for all of you wonderful pro writers). Our fashion closet of designing is on etsy one piece at a time, listed under Twindollicious as our website is being developed. With that, I have to say that the picking comes solely from ms Kennedy the fashionista 🙂 , the idea of selling at a rate of buy 1 get 1 comes from mommy and the great experience of shopping for 2, as Ms Vittoria is responsible for the beautiful packaging …she is the organized one . And lastly I will share the thrifting of our brand which many people say you probably should not do until all patents are complete, but I know that many parents will love this….and if some billionaire comes along and makes it happen than its with gods blessings 🙂 …..The Closet thrifting is a place held on the site where parents can buy, sell and donate only children’s goods and clothing as in comparison to similar sites for all goods. How exciting is that when your 2 year old grows out of that Burberry jacket that she/he (x’s 2 for me) only wore once and now you have to prep for the next size or season?! 🙂 🙂
With our busy week of my husbands business launch party behind us I begin to reflect. I have a vision in my head; while looking out from the stage of many people that I didn’t know. Here I was trying to get my dolled up 20 month old daughters through the night to support their dad and almost forgot why we were there, until I looked out in the crowd. There were so many successful people that I would consider to be strangers to me and my children. Some of them were asking to hold a child, some expressed that they’ve never had children and most of them were so welcoming to invite us to their homes and freely offering new opportunities. When reflecting back I think of all of the people I would love for my children to be influenced by..to spend time with, to learn from …with me first on the list of
course. I say this because nurturing good children and showing them the basics of treating people the way you want to be treated creates wonderful, considerate, successful people. When understanding people you understand the world. Though I have twins I praise individual successes and only love the same. Praying that they will become happy and successful young ladies one day.
